Do I need to stuff my masks?

Hi!
I was just wondering about this because I’ve seen alot of guys here who stuff there masks with plastic bags, what is it good for? Do I need to do that with my masks and can I just use regular plastic bags to do it? I’m sorry about all this new topics that I make but i’m kind of a new guy and don’t know so very much about this. :frowning:

Thanks!

Simon

Yes!
Clear plastic bags will do fine.
It keeps the mask in shape.

Yes, to keep shape.

don’t worry about posting brotha! and yes, stuffing it will help retain its shape and features! that’s why some people get their masks foam filled, it can make a mask last longer!

YEA THE BAGS KEEP THE MASK IN IT’S SHAPE OR YOU CAN USE A FOAM HEAD ,THAT’LL DO THE TRICK THAT’S WHAT I USED STUCK ON A STAND FOR DISPLAY.

HOPE I COULD HELP

exactly what i wa thinking :unamused:

Hey TheShapeIsHome. I am new here also. I don’t even know how to post so. Well ask a question. I think some of these guys you have to give a break. They probably don’t post in the New Area because maybe nobody will answer or he/she may not know how to do it.

Sorry guys, it always sounds worse then I intend, but once agian yes you must stuff your masks to keep its beautiful shape.

I LOVE HOW HE CHANGED HIS POST. I DON’T KNOW WHY THE HELL SHAPEISHOME IS BOSSING PEOPLE AROUND AND TELLING THEM WHAT AND WHERE THEY CAN AND CANNOT POST HE’S A BRAND NEW MEMBER AS WELL, THIS IS THE SECOND THREAD HE’S DONE THIS…WHAT GIVES’ YOU THE RIGHT, SORRY IF I’M BEING HARSH BUT I’M JUST STATING FACTS, JUST LIGHTEN UP MAN.

Dude, I said it always sounds worse then what I intend, and that I was sorry, but still you continue to harass me.

Doesnt it have to do with the thickness of the pull also? I have a thinner pull mask and it seems to hold better than the thinner pull. Allthough I have kept the thinner pull stuffed the whole time and never worn the thicker pull just received. So if he has a thicker pull maybe it won’t matter as much but just that it keeps it erect if not on a stand?

yeah bro, drop it, he has apologised, it is cool!

Thanks guys!
I guess I have to go pick up some plastic bags right now, because I bought my mask more than a month ago and I have it on my shelf without anything in it.
I have no mask stand either, can I make my own?

sorry guys that was confusing i have a thinner pull that has been stuffed for a few years and just recieved the thicker pull. Never wore the thin pull mask. My bad but back to what the original question was. Would it matter on the thickness of his pull then?

wow, your mum will be shocked! i’ll bet you will offer to get the groceries just for the bags

THIS IS THE CHEAPEST AND BEST SOLUTION FOR KEEPING MASKS RIGHT AND ON STANDS.

  1. 3$ FOAM HEAD YOU CAN BUY ONLINE OR ANY SALON
  2. 8$ WOODEN PAPER TOWEL HOLDER YOU CAN BUY @ KMART

SIMPLE AND EASY, THE TOP UNSCREWS FROM THE PAPER TOWEL HOLDER, THERE SHOULD BE A HOLE ON THE BOTTOM OF THE FOAM HEAD, STICK IT ON THE POLE AND PUT YOUR MASK ON, THATS IT.

EASIEST WAY IN MY EYES THAT’S WHAT I DO:

HOPE I COULD HELP

TAKE CARE, NO HARD FEELINGS SHAPE

JIM

if you are really desperate you could use 2l soda bottles full of water then change the water every once in a while, that is what i do, but yes like theshape said, i also have my mmfx blood brothers on a foam head!

OR A COUPLE WINE BOTTLES WOULD DO THE TRICK I HAVE SOME ON THOSE

Alright, I think i’m going to look for a place to buy a foam head, but what if the foam head doesn’t fit my mask?

USAULLY ALL FOAM HEADS FIT, I WOULDN’T WORRY IT SHOULD WORK SMOOTHLY
