I could go on forever on my opinions about this subject. But I’m really dying to hear what everyone else thinks in de tail with reason why u feel this way.

Like the guy above me said, theres a lot of posts like this, but I never get tired of telling my opinion on the remake series so its all good 
. I love them both. They’re so different and unique. Michael’s look, Laurie, the background of Michael Myers, etc. Pretty much everything about the remakes are as good if not better than the original H1 and H2.
eh i wouldn’t go as far as being better than the orignal h1 h2. Rz halloweens are ok, i don’t care much for the second one. To me it was a little overboard and almost comedic at times. But i loved the look of michael in RZ h1
Loved both films! To me it was a breath of fresh air compared to H20 and Resurrection! Was glad to see someone with a different outlook on Myers do these films!
Yeah the Original is the original…It will always be king and will always be the best no matter how many times it remade…IMO of course…But I liked RZ H1 and somewhat liked RZ H2…Some thngs in H2 i just couldnt get over but thats just me…I love Michaels look in RZ H1 and in the begining of H2…Not to keen on the Hobo look or half mask…But if there is one thing Rob Zombie knows how to do is light…I thought the lighting in both films especially H2 was excellent…Both films had a creepy vibe to me and Tyler mane was the best myers since dick warlock by far…All in all Im a fan of the RZ movies…There were just some things i would like have seen done a bit different…But I do enjoy the 2 films especially RZ h1…Later guys
I really enjoyed the first RZ film, and LOVED the look of myers and his mask in part 1 and the beginning of part 2…actually the dream sequence or hospital scene mask is one of my favourites!
I really liked the similarities that the first movie had with the original, but also how it had a fresh twist on it…
the rob zombie remake of halloween was 50/50 it was not bad yet not that good of a the movie to me have alittle to much sex the halloween movies are not known for its sex sceans also the fact that michael myers was a poor kid made michael not that scary the fact that michael was picked on and bullied that drove him to be wat he is made not less scary it would have been better if michael was a normal kid in an normal family and still kid his sister and dad or step dad would have been 100 times scaryer and the fact the michael myers was 6,8 tall monster was also a big no no if he was normal size and still have a large amont of strength would be much better other then that it was good the story line was about the same as the first but the fact that he did not want to kill lurie was bad as well but still i enjoy waching the remake it was very well made not the best halloween yet not the worst its in my top 4 best halloweens
Loved them…I applaud Rob for injecting his own vision into the tale; why have Michael be a “normal” well to do kid who snaps? Rob gave us a more realistic look into what creates a monster in our society. RZ’s Michael was a true human psychopath, a homicidal sociopath. Sure, the concept of “evil” is scary but so is a human being gone wrong. I also liked the choice of Tyler Mane, for sure the best Myers since Warlock. RZ made Michael bad-ass again…his films washed away the stripped down clown version that Michael had become in flops such as H8.
Were they perfect? No. But, JC’s original is THE holy grail of horror. It probably shouldn’t have been remade, you cannot improve on perfection. That being said, RZ did a great job…and gave us a KILLER mask!

I love RZ’s Halloween! My only complaint is that the first half contains WAY too much swearing. It doesn’t offend me, but man…it got annoying when ever other word was “fuck”. The second half eased up on that a lot, to my relief.
But overall, I think Rob did a great job. Has anyone heard the song “Michael” that he recorded? If not, check it out on youtube sometime. It’s really awesome

The first rz halloween i actually like, its not perfect but it gets the job done. Two big problems i have with the first one is the scene where lynda, laurie and annie are walking form school and they see a suspicious car and they start shouting out horrible lines at it. That part the dialogue sounds so simple and juvenile that it makes me cringe every time i see it. Another low point in the movie is the tragic murder of joe grizzly, he was hilarious and deserved more screen time imo. He was an innocent man who just wanted to read a porno mag and take a dump due to a burrito(or taco cant remember at the moment) supreme talking back to him…sad 
I haven’t got a chance to watch h2 since i seen it in theaters so i cant really comment much on it but i remember liking it at first but after it settled in a bit i didnt. I hated the ending, mask-less michael and mostly how loomis was just turned into an asshole. Rob made some very retarded decisions in the script which i think was due to him not even wanting to do a sequel in the first place but then again what do i know.
