Hi everyone, I’m thinking about getting the new TOTS Elrod mask, but before I do that, I was wondering if anyone had one yet and if so what your thoughts are on it. Would you say it’s a good H1 mask? He only thing that really bothers me about it is the hair. It seems too dark and fuzzy, like the resurrection masks hair. But despite this, can the hair be styled to look like the H1 hairstyle with the curly strands on the sides and poofed up hair in front? Basically I’m just looking for a sort of review of the mask ha ha. I’m looking for an accurate H1 and the TOTS Elrod is the only one in my price range, and I’ve heard it’s using the night owl psycho sculpt so I assume it looks as good as the actual night owl psycho. And the final thing is the fit, I’ve heard it’s tight. My head is about 23.5 inches, so would it fit me? Thanks

if you want a cheap H1 then its the elrod,do what i did look at the pyscho gallery,and with some guts at trimming,and i also slowly ripped off some of the hair on the sides.Which was easy as the hair isnt glued on the best.You can get it to look spot on.

If your a bit uneasy at trimming,removing hair.Try it on one of your cheaper masks if you have one.But it can def look the part.
I also cut a slit in the mouth and removed a bit of the shine.I will add i used the small nail type scissors.
Size wise i dare not try it as i’m sure it will split,so its just a display piece for me.
All in all thanks to TOTS i have finally got my hands on the nearest thing i will ever get to a Psycho,which is my all time fave mask.
Hey guys. I just got my tots elrod mask yesterday in the mail. When i opend the Box and saw the mask my first reaction was…holy shit that fella right there looks so amazing. I was stunned, i have to admit that i always wanted a real good looking H1 mask all these years. The fact that i live in Germany is a big factor when it comes to money, cause of shipping and all these things. Of course i would also like to have an indy mask like the creep but it is real expensive. So all my hopes for the last twenty or so years were that someday it could be possible to catch up a H1 looking myers mask with a good price. In 2012 i ordered the tots h2 mask and when it arrived i was Happy too but that mask is wayyyy to big for my head. But the Elrod mask has the exact size that i always hoped for. My head is around 23 / 23.5 so SamLoomis78 i think it should fit your head too. The hair is a good quality and with some minutes of time i believe you can make it to a well looking H1 style with that curly side line (i have not done it by now). My Copy just looks so kirk to me, i’m really happy that tots made a dream come true for me. My first decision was to get the Hospital mask. But i read that this mask is a lil bit bigger than the elrod so i switched my opinion (but i will get a Hospital later i guess).

@ SamLoomis78… while u ask for the hair. I have the tots resurrection mask too and the hair isn’t the same. The coulor yeah it come close with each other. But the hair on the elrod is better quality. It’s like the tots H6 mask. I mean there are no bald spots on it. It’s a soft touch but it doesn’t fell out. Good quality there.
Mikey what head size do you have ? Nearly anybody says that the Elrod is a bit snug. Am I the only one with a small head !? 
That was the big reason for me to catch up the Elrod when i heard that it’s snug / small… i have a lil bit of room when i wearing the elrod and the latex is thick too 
Damn my head must be very small i guess hahaha …

But actually i ended up getting the TOTS Ben Tramer mask that was converted by Uwannadon into an H1, which is basically the same mask as the Elrod. I’m pretty happy with it, the hairs great and fits me snug, not uncomfortablely tight, just good n snug to stay in place.
Tbh with you MyersGermany,i didnt dare.
I mean it just felt too tight to get over my head,and i dont have a big head either,the Tots 2 mask dwarfs me.haha
But my masks i just stuff and custom for display really,i wish i could get the phone to send pics(gonna have to update i guess.haha)
I have a nice little H1-2 & 3 shelf at the moment,very happy with.And its all thanks to TOTS.
What they have given us is a blank canvas,what i mean is great sculpts which on there own are great.But if you have a little skill can be further developed into something very similar to what you see on here from the other great artists.
Just hope TOTS finally get the other masks license,then maybe one day if i have the room,i can finally get masks for all the movies.

My Elrod fits me pretty snugly. I messed with the eye cuts and added a little bit of shading. If only the mask had better hair
