Don Post Studios 2012 Skulls, old vs new

I got asked recently if the new Don Post 2012 Skulls were smaller than the vinyl ones released before in 1982. So, I pulled out the 2012 Don Post Prototype Skull and had a look. Honestly, they are the exact same size; the new 2012 Don Post Skulls were just mishandled at the plant overseas that they honestly look smaller but upon inspection, they are the same…just thinner vinyl too.

In this picture you can see that they took off the Don Post Studios 1967 stamp off the back and yet, the Skulls cracks are exactly the same.

I suppose its really all in the paintup. I picked one up and love it!
