Hey guys,
I’m looking for that old BBC footage that was shot during the filming of Halloween in 78.
Here is As much as I can find…

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=onjT8mv3a1k
I’ve seen clips elsewhere of Donald saying that he doesn’t agree with all of the script and something about it not intended to “be real in any sense… that awful word “real””, but I can’t find this interview in its’ entirety anywhere! Anyone???
You know, it’s funny, I was just thinking about these interviews the other day and where to find them
Yeah I’ve seen clips of it in documentaries over the years and would love to know how much the BBC filmed not just of Donald but of the production. I’m sure I read there was half an hour of footage in the archives if true that would make a great extra feature for release
Anchor Bay wanted to include that whole interview on a release of Halloween but the BBC wanted to.be paid and Anchor Bay refused.
That’s a shame. Hopefully a future release will have it. I’m not counting on the 40th anniversary edition so maybe for a 45th or the big 50 they will get all that outtake footage (maybe locate the sound) and use the BBC footage and include every documentary and commentary on the film for a finial comprehensive release.
Thanks Kirk… I figured it was a matter of money somewhere along the line.
It always is and always will be.
