So I know this is so random and it isn’t just the ps78 for me but does anyone ever look at a myers mask and think how accurate/badass it looks only to see the side profile looking like a seagull or a triple chin world of Warcraft gamer? I know it’s all opinion based and I still would like to own a ps78 just wondering if anyone else thinks this way also.

Art is subjective - there is no wrong or right
It seems to be pretty darn difficult to do stretch masks where they work from all angles, partially due to the lack of photos and screenshots for reference (most photos or screenshots will show the mask at a handful of specific angles, sometimes with lighting that stylizes and accentuates the mask a certain way), partially due to wanting to replicate the look of a certain scene like the phone scene (which is lit a certain way that accentuates features), and partially due to the fact that the mask wasn’t always worn the same. Sometimes Nick would have his mouth open- stretching the mask further than when closed, sometimes it’s fit more flush, sometimes more loose, and the mask probably stretched and wore during the 30 day shoot so it just wouldn’t be the same on day 30 that is was on day 1.
The best thing someone could do is get a full head scan or cast of Nick. I know his face isn’t the same as it was and certain features grow over time (even the cranium), but you can at least get closer that way to get better mask stands and better stretch masks (do the same with Tommy Lee Wallace too).

I agree with that and I think there was someone who actually had done or was working on a 3D model full head scan on young Nick Castle. What I also like to add would think be a good idea is to use the same kind of latex don post used back in the day, I believe I heard people say it was more clay like or cheaper I’m sure but I think that would also help shape it out more to the original. I know somewhere on this forum too they have a lineage chart of what masks are descendants of a 75 Kirk, the best ones In my opinion are the 98 proto, would list more but there’s so many I don’t even know the names to.
