That’s cool, seems a little pricey though considering I only payed a few bucks for three of them. Mine were in much better condition too. I wonder how many of these cans exist?
It is a little bit pricey. I spoke with him about it as I wanted to buy it (before I bought the other can) He is willing to sell it for $7 + $5 shipping. Still a little high, but it’s a pretty cool can though.
I knew that his can was a stay-tab which always throw me off as I thought stay-tabs didn’t come out until around 83/84. I wonder how his can had a 78/79 lable, but the can was from 80/81… that’s weird lol. If you find one please let me know, i would to see it. I’m also keeping my out for one.

What do you guys think about this Coke can? I have added a white box where it is missing some writing that is on the DW can, but it looks pretty close. Thoughts?
It looks pretty good, not exact but if its not too much it would make a nice placeholder until somebody finds a case of the right ones in their grandpas attic and throws them on ebay.
$10 all in, it is nice and as you said not exact. I’ll probably wait to see if I can find a better one.
I just bought this can on Ebay. It’s missing the test that says “Recyclable”… but all-in-all, looks good to me.

I just found this pic of an old coke can and at first glance it looked to me like it had the three ridges like Dick’s can, but its just an optical illusion due to the lighting and angle of the shot. It makes me wonder if the same kind of illusion could be present in DW’s pic. If that were the case it would certainly explain why we can’t find one with three ridges. What do you guys think?
