Dyeing coveralls.

I ruined my navy blue coveralls with bleach. Im thinking about dyeing them spruce green to cover the bleach stains and make them screen accurate. I found a fabric dye called Tulip color shot. Its a spray. Has anyone used this before?

try using rit dye. it always worked well for me.

If they are polyester… there is a particular brand of dye made for that. If you have a Joanne’s Fabrics in your town, that’s the place to go.

That Tulip stuff was a bad idea. They are polyester.

Rit dye has a synthetic dye that will work for polyester/nylon. You can find it at Joann’s

Thanks. Thats what I’m going to try next. First I have to soak them in bleach and water or color remover to get the ugly green off.

Its all good now.! I scored some redkaps. I got the spruce green. Its crazy. I was googling ways to fix the bleach stained pair and I got a notification that I had $30.00 Sears rewards points. They were on sale for 27.99 with free shipping. I paid zero dollars out of pocket! They’re a gift from God
