I would like all of you to take a look at this picture of Ed Gein. I believe they made the hair line of the original hero mask to resemble Ed Gein. This is a very creepy pic and in my opinion looks like the real myers without even wearing a mask.

Thats what I thought! I know the story of Ed Gein has nothing to do with Halloween, but the movies Psycho and Texas chainsaw movies were based off of Ed Gein. I think its quite possible that maybe old Ed could be credited for the Hairline of Michael Myers!

A lot of horror characters have Ed Gein integrated somehow in them. I wouldn’t be suprised if they did integrate the hairline in Myers. Good thinking.

while its a possibility its most likely just coincidence. The hairline on the myers is simply the result of removing the sideburns. remove the sideburns on any kirk and youll get pretty much the same result. Interesting nonetheless
Don’t forget about Hannibal Lecter. Based off of Gein as well.
Another interesting fact about Ed Gein, is he was very quiet, hardly ever spoke. People in town said of Gein to be harmless, but that was a cover for the evil within him. The same could be said for Michael. He never moved, never spoke, in a way he was the ideal patient. The staff were not prepaired when Michael snapped and broke out.
i mean i gotta agree with trav because saying that michaels face is based off gein is pretty bold statement…they didnt know what the hell it was gonna turn out to be but then they stripped the eye brows an side burns off kirk an painted him…i remember in a interview how ‘‘demented’’ it looked when he put it on for the first time, which is classic moment and i truely believe that is when the look was born…thats when he became michael myers

i think its a issue of remembering what the mask was actually made from which is kirk…i duno man
