That’s funny. I heard a story once of someone seeing this movie in the theater, and when Michael first appears in that hallway, another moviegoer in the theater yelled, “Run, bi***! It’s OJ!”
I dont think it is sapposed to be Michael’s hand with the knife. The gloved hand holding the knife is meant to symbolize the evil that is behind Michael’s murders which is Dr. Wynn as the Man in Black(who actually wore the black gloves) and his cult.

Yes I’ve noticed and it has always bothered the shit out of me. True maybe it is meant to represent the man in black but to me it always just seemed to be hiding his lack of burns or simply just a massive lack of consistancy on their part.
