I say we really gotta stop this, that’s freaking harassment man, I can sell as many mask and call them Myers if I like, as long as I don’t say “Halloween-Michael Myers” then they have absolutely no right, I mean what if my name happened to be Myers and I sold that same mask???

With ya on that one Ive tried using the “white man” excuse and said that any similarities in likeness with any copyrighted item is unintentional (along the lines at least) and had mine removed…i guess as long as it looks like a myers mask they don’t care what we say

I know what you are saying man !! I won a Myers mask on Ebay a few days ago…which I received today, my MMP Nightmare… and Ebay pulled the auction for it right after I had won and paid for it !!! Now why in the hell would they wait to pull the auction…after it had already ended ??? Thank god I had already paid for it and knew the sellers email address…so I could contact him, or I would have been screwed !!! This copyright bulls%#t is ridiculous…I mean where have these people been this whole time ??? !

Exactly. Trancas is REALLY sticking it to we the fans. They won’t license an officially made mask that looks worth a crap but yet they have no problem whatsoever spending money/manpower in doing a witch hunt on the fans, the very people that are the reason they have a job in the first place.
I was searching “Michael Myers Mask” on ebay just a little over a week ago…DOZENS if not a hundred or more indy masks came up. I checked last night and I think I saw one or two that wasn’t the Don Post, Illusive Concepts, etc etc pile of shit. Of course Trancas is FINE with that. Screw the fans, screw quality…just let us bleed the freaks. That must be the mindset they have.
Trancas I know, but ebay bend down and they’re just as bad, I mean they are SO BIG they’d have crushed Trancas in any lawsuit had they choosen to defend their customers, so guess they are both the ENEMY!!!

i think what pisses me off the most about all of this is the fact that Trancas must not even know the story behind the mask and what made it soooooo freaking famous in the first place… i mean if it werent for the Capt. Kirk mask being ripped off and repainted Michael Myers would have NEVER been in the first place, i mean Jon Carpenter and his make-up crew were seriously hurting for ideas of “The Mask” sooooo i call hypocrites on Trancas…wouldnt it be funny if we allllll got in good with whoever created the first Capt. Kirt mask memory is failing me threw a lawsuit on Trancas for THEIR copyright infringement in '78!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA that would bite them in the ass HARD :finga:
i think he means that after Halloween trancus might back off because they know not as many people are looking for Myers masks after Halloween.
then as Halloween draws closer next year they will more than likely start up again in attempt to keep most of the general public from buying a decent Myers mask, in hopes that they will settle for their mass produced crap.
