Thought it might be interesting to post a recreation of the hero mask from H1 right through to the last time it was seen.
Now this is no easy feat as the hero looked so different during that time frame, but it was a bit of fun.
Now it can be using one mask or multiple ones, so lets see what you got

For my replica pics, I chose 3 masks based on how much weathering they each have, my 2010 Psycho, my 2014 Creep, and my 2012 TOTS Lunatic:
My Psycho has the least amount of weathering out of my favorite replica white masks, and is a very plain, pale looking mask. The eyes have a nice H1 look to them, the eyecuts being nice and neutral. The broadness of the neck reminds me of early shots in the film of the Hero, when it was still very crisp and new-ish. The neck flared out, and didn’t have a lot of paint rubbed off, yet, which you can really see in this pic.
Then there’s my Creep. Now there’s a Hero mask. It has all the features that I could want in a later H1 style mask. The neck is fleshy, the hair is a little matted, and the eyecuts a little stretched. The neck curved in a little bit, like the Hero is seen doing on Castle’s neck later in the film. The lips have a pasty kinda fleshy dark look to them, like the paint has been partially rubbed away. You can really see the details I’m talking about in this pic.
And finally, my TOTS Lunatic. I have personally repainted and refinished this mask myself using as many BTS pics as I can get my hands on. I wanted the neck to have a “rubbed” look to it rather than simply unpainted. Using artists chalk, I scraped the features into the mask neck, creating a dark, fleshy look that still retained am ample amount of white, as if the paint had been rubbed away by random handling of the mask. I used black chalk to both darken the flesh tone chalk and to add those dark spots we can see in images like this. The hair is the damnedest part of this mask, and I never did get it to be matted like I wanted from it. I’ve seen others who have, but it never works on my copy. The neck, however, flares very well with the stuffing I have in the mask, making it look like a nice Warlock stretch. Without the stuffing, the mask pulls off a Castle stretch, and so when stuffed, the eyes look great.
These pictures try to recreate the last appearance of the hero before it vanished and I chose them for the gnarly/distorted appearance. I also picked this fourth mask for the fact that the slight stuffing in these pics reminds me of certain pics of the hero looking slightly worse for wear.
