Although my new mold 75k is near perfect I’m slightly worried about one of the eye cuts. The corner of the left eye cut seems off to me. Too almond shaped, is this ok or maybe an accidental slip of the hand ? Leave it alone or get it fixed?
Thanks guys
Jeremy
It definately looks fucked up man I don’t know who finished this or did that, but it’s a little off or sure… with Myers masks sometimes the eyes cuts can be a little off and it still works this seems like one of those times where although it’s not 100% accurate it works almost just as good… if u were gonna try to get it fixed it’s pretty risky considering ur taking away latex which is harder to add later on… I’ll post a pic of what I would do but taking my advice is a risky bid my friend
I’m a bit perplexed as it is a mask by Fred loper . I guess I may just use a small eyebrow scissors to cut some piece off , if I screw it up I may just send it to a professional to fix it properly.
It is very risky my friend, it is not too bad the way it already is, and I’m guessing u have a nice amount of money into this mask, I’d be very careful
If you look on the other eye cut zoomed in there is some ball point pen marking. What’s the best way to rub that out without stuffing up the paint work?
safe things, a damp paper towel with some ivory hand bar soap is safe, also palmolive/sunlight dishsoap is safe.
dampen a paper towel add a dot or two of dishsoap, lather/mix it around on the towel.
Wipe it on the mask them blott it with a clean wet paper towel, then blot it dry with a clean paper towel.
Its also safe to use an alcohol free baby-wipe on the paint
Well u definitely made it look alot better thats for sure. How long ago was that mask finished by Fred Loper? Is this one fairly new ? Or a much older copy ?
