Hey everyone. Just wanting some opinions on this. So I have the opportunity to place a deposit down on the Father Phantom Studios “Spectre V3” that is currently being sculpted, however I don’t know how long that will take them to finish sculpting that and I hear that their wait times are near JC wait times at this point. The Spectre is I believe cheaper than any mask NAG offers however still looks fantastic. Now, onto NAG. More expensive, need to pay shipping charges and taxes, however essentially guaranteed the mask within 2026 of I order in the next few weeks. So what do you think? Go for the cheaper, yet equal quality of Father Phantom and wait a good long while? Or dish out some more cash and go to Nik and get a more “immediate” product?
Personally i would just bite the bullet on the NAG. But if you have the patience to wait then I’m sure the spectre v3 is gonna be great.
So would you send the NAG out to James or keep it with Niks finishing???

Was gonna go with JC, so yea that’s why I’m torn. I could have it sooner if Nikos himself done the paint, however not a massive fan of Nikos’s own finishing myself but his sculpts are great
You could always try getting it finished by artists like Rowland, MrSamhain, etc. They all do really good work from what I’ve seen!

Been waiting on an H20 stunt mask from father phantom since January 2022.
Oh I heard their wait times were bad but not that bad. Luckily I have a good H1 I made myself now so I don’t need either the FPS or NAG. I did foolishly put a deposit in for FPS, but now I think I’ll just accept the $50ish loss and call it a day
Yeah, I know Ben reworked the mask to version 3 so there was some delay there. Went into it thinking it be about a year and half but we are at 4 and counting. I don’t know if I would have put out my deposit if I thought it would take this long.just could paid an up charge on one secondhand. It’s pretty crazy.

Yup. And seeing as I only put down my deposit in late 2025, going by that timeline I don’t think I’ll get anything from Father Phantom until at least 2029 or 2030. Ridiculous. Yea, I’ll just keep some cash to the side and buy NAG’s H40. Already got a good 78 and don’t need another. I’m a small collection kind of guy. Just gonna accept the $50 or 60 loss from Father Phantom tbh.
My last message to and from Ben was last February. Just sent him a message two days ago and have yet to hear back. I’m just starting to think I won’t actually get anything and lost my deposit. Which in my case for the h20 was around $250. I ordered a 13 and had it in less than 6 months. Think the longest I’ve ever waited for any mask was just about a year.
That is ridiculous. Real bad way to deal with customers who are paying top dollar for this stuff.
