I’m curious to see whose everyone’s favorite Myers actor. Mine is Don Shanks followed VERY closely by George Wilbur. I think the two actors almost played off each other very well. Michael is more pissed in Halloween 5 and I think Don showed more anger in his take on the character but also was able to maintain classic Myers movements and behavior. George’s movements were great as well.

To be honest I don’t think anyone has ever portrayed Michael “bad”. It’s like the mask debate: “Which is the best/worst?”. it’s really open to interpretation and each one is great in it’s own way 
. He is doing and feeling different things in each movie and the actor playing him brings that uniqueness to the character like none of the others could have!
Best imo is Chris Durand. Hands down. He made the character look very intimidating.
Probably warlock for me. I like nick but honestly we don’t see much of him compared to the others an warlock started his famous slow walk. To me he seemed like a real guy in H1 then he went into zombie trance in all the rest

I do also like Dick Warlock’s slow moving Michael. He definitely gave his own unique take on the character.
Chris Durand breathed new life into Michael and made him feel real again.
These 3 are my favorites but Castle will always be #1 for me.
Great question man! I have to agree with you! Don Shanks! I hate to only pick one because I think the first 2 movies top the rest of the series. But Don’s take on myers was scary. George was good, but if you think about it, He really didn’t play Myers that much from what Tom Morga told me, Tom played Myers in H-4 all the way up to the shotgun scene where Kelly Meeker was killed, which is an hour or so into the film. Tom told me that! George took over right after, You see George first appear as myers when Brady, Rachel and Jamie are upstairs and he walks past the fire place and creeps up and kills Brady! You can actually see the difference in the switch if you pay attention. George had on some kind of padding, to look bigger. Its clear as day. Put in H4 and don’t press play watch the menu of myers standing there in the lighting, No padding and that is Tom Morga. Also most of Wilburs scenes in H6 were cut out and re-shot by A. Michael Lerner , If you pay attention you can also see the switch. Wilbur looked a bit “fatter”, compared to A. Michael Lerner. Dick and Nick were great also! You had a Very tough question man!
I’d like to add that Nick Castle and Don Shanks probably tie for a very close second place for me. Chris Durand did an amazing job as well. Heck, guess I like them all in their own way haha!
I agree, I like them all in their own way also, Minus Brad Loree. I did not like his version of Michael at all. The one thing I will say in brad’s defense is, Its not Brad’s fault the movie was shit.

Tough call between Nick Castle and TLW for me
TLW only played the part when braking down the closet door, and putting his hand through the kitchen door, as well as slicing Laurie’s arm with a knife…so not sure how he can be classed as one of the best Myers. lol

sure it’s only a few scenes, but they’re some of the most intense in the film IMO. In my mind, Nick is the stealthy, stalker aspect of Myers, while TLW is the destructive aspect.
Nick Castle and Tyler Mane.
Nick is the original and the Castle stretch is by far the coolest Michael look ever.
Tyler looked just mean and did an amazing job as the shape. The movement, looks etc.
Nick Castle and Dick Warlock are my favorite Myers.
