This is hard as hell to choose because I love the whole movie but for a certain scene that gives me goosebumps I would have to pick the Boom Box Boy scene. Just the way Michael looks so badass walking down the street and the trick or treaters all around wooo gives me a Halloween rush.
So what’s your favorite scene?
For me either the entire chase scene or the blood tears scene. Both had a lot of tension and the film is at it’s climax.
Such a hard decision, but I’m going to say it’s either the scene where Dr. Loomis is in the back of the car with the nurse talking about Samhain, or the scene where Michael kills Janet in the office. The Loomis scene because of the lighting, and moving shadows along with the music, and Loomis’ awesome dialogue about Samhain, there’s even a point where half his face is lit up red for a moment, which seems so fitting. As a side note, the Samhain elements in H2 are part of why I love it, it just adds to that overall dark, gothic quality the film has, which is so fitting for a film set on Halloween.
My other pick is the Janet kill scene in the office because again, the great cinematography with the pitch black darkness, only dimly lit by the bubbling fish tank, and don’t get me started on the beautiful H1 nod with half of Michael’s mask slowly emerging from the black darkness, only this time in red, which is actually very symbolic of his evil nature Loomis so beautifully describes, it’s almost as if Michael IS that darkness in the room. The shot of the doctors chair slowly spinning around with that needle in his eye is so creepy. And of course, again, the super eerie music that plays in that scene is just perfect.
The end credits…I think this sequel was boring as hell
The stalking moments on the security cameras would have to be the creepiest, especially when we first see him on the hospital grounds and you just see the white of the mask, the other would be when he kills Janet due to the lighting from the fish tank, especially when he tilts his head and you see how distorted the mask is, still creeps me out to this day, I would love to see that recreated and had the bubbling effect done with a blue light
So many great scenes, it’s really hard to pick just one. But if I had to, I’d go with the scene, where Michael wanders through the streets and then proceeds to steal the knife from the old lady. When I was five years old, this was the scene I managed to catch on TV before my parents came and it scared the living daylights out of me.
For me probably the Elrod house scene! Michael lurking through peoples back yards and then going into the house abs stealing the knife
Opening credits…
Agreed
Hot tub scene.
Hell of a set of hangers on her

Yes, 100%! Everybody likes to focus in on the hospital scenes because those are the ones that really set the movie apart from the first, but that first half hour of Michael just wandering around the neighborhood, and then the town, trying to evade police, have some fun, and find Laurie were some of my favorite parts of the movie, especially the opening first person view we got of Michael wandering through the neighborhood.
probably when Michael walks through the glass door, ever since I was little I wanted to do that

Glass scene is wicked.
Slow walk hallway scene, street walk scene towards hospital…
There’s so many good scenes it’s difficult to pick only one, but I really love when Michael is stalking Laurie. The low angle camera shot of Michael walking down the flight of stairs during this sequence is awesome! A very close second would be the the whole boombox boy sequence when Michael walks through town and heads towards the hospital. Dick Warlock completely nailed the Shape’s walk in this film.
Without a doubt for me it’s when Michael kills the nurse with a scalpel and lifts her up in the air in front of Laurie and her shoes fall off, I don’t know why but that’s my favorite kill in ANY Halloween movie
Hey guys!
This is difficult for me because there are so many great scenes as well as I am a bit biased as it is my favorite movie in the series. With that said I do really enjoy the scenes when Michael is just walking through the hallways. I like how it cuts back from Laurie back to Michael as it creates some great tension as well as you see the mask in raw form as there isn’t much shadowy lighting.

The scenes where Michael is walking through the streets of Haddonfield, Michael gets caught on camera walking through the hospital, and the scene where Michael enters Laurie’s room.
