Good one.
hmmm my girlfriend has been wanting a myers mask for a feminine myers next year…
That’s actually a pretty rare mask! Im not sure how sought after it is however I might just get it for it’s rarity. There is also a Black Dps/Rubies that was put out Many years ago. It was Black with white eyebrows and I THINK white sculpted hair. Thats a rare one too. I think I remember seeing it in Big Lots about 15 years ago.

That mask debuted in 2001 as a mask called “She Mask.” It’s a female version of the ever popular “The Mask” from Don Post Studios.
Here is a little history on the naming of that mask as well.
I got a call from Don Post, Jr. in 2000 asking if I wouldn’t mind Don Post Studios using my name for a mask. I said sure, what is the mask? (I was thinking it was either a Don Post ‘Myers’ or a cool re-issue oldie.) He said he was doing a female version of “The Mask” and he wanted to call it “Billie”. I was kind of confused to say the least. I ultimately said that I didn’t want my name on the mask so “She Mask” won out after I asked that my name not be used. 3 years later I was talking to a Don Post Studios rep (Crystal) and we got to talking and she told me that Don really wanted to use my name for that mask and I was upset that it was going with a female mask. She said when Don likes you, if your really lucky, he’ll name a mask after you. To this day since my talk with Crystal, I have regretted my decision.
Cool story Billy, I have to say that would have been quite an honor but I do understand the reservations in having a FEMALE mask named after you!
A female Myers kind of makes sense in a way since it was a female who partially inspired the look of Myers. John Carpenter (to my understanding) saw a movie who featured a female with a blank, emotionless white mask she wore:
this mask was also used the the film the poughkeepsie tapes, a film inspired by a real life killer not far from me
thats weird but in a way kind of cool because its rare
