Does anyone know the lineage of this mask? I’m getting major DPS 1999 Shatner vibes. Is it a recast or ground up sculpt?

IIRC it has distant lineage to an original 75 Kirk.

Pretty sure Bryan at um… what was the name… masketcase studios created this mold. Most people hated him and said he stole it… but it was a pretty cheap mask and he sold them on Facebook(Ebay). I don’t know the details of the drama myself.
He then sold it to pena who has been refinishing masks for awhile about two years ago? And I guess he sold it to somebody else now.

For anyone unaware:
Bryan Hoffman at MCS made this originally. It’s a retool of the HMK, which was supposed to be a limited mask but was all around kind of a shit show of a project.

He had another version called the LTSN (later that same night). I had one for awhile but I never got it refinished.
Wonder if its the same mold or a retool.

For anyone who has questions, Rowland is absolutely great to deal with. Don’t hesitate to contact him about this mask. He’s got an H1 version he also acquired from Martin that will be available in the not too distant future. Can’t wait for my blank to come in.
