Fix H1 Rob Zombie Mask Ripping and Hair

I got my Halloween 1 Mask on October 22nd,2015. Hair has fell out a little bit not a lot. Not as bad as other people have said that their mask are completely bald. If anyone knows a solution like where I can buy that type of hair on the mask etc. Also the mask has been ripping some it was kinda tight at first but I broke it in. Someone told me to get a fishing line and a sewing needle. Do you guys think that this will work? I work at a haunted house with this mask and want it to look good for next October.
Will appreciate all the support for the community helping me out.
P.S will try to post some photos of the mask

What kind of mask is it? As in, who is the maker? Don Post? Prop Shop? Dela Torre?

It is a Don Post mask. I will also include the Rip and bald spots.

Oh boy, I used to have one of these, its such a crappy mask, looks more like Nicholas Cage then Michael Myers   , but to fix the mask from tearing from the back, whole punch it where its tearing at the back and it will prevent it from continuing to tear more.

Pm sent  I’ll hook it up
The hair is camel hair. Here…is a serious overhaul candidate

Indeed, I would love to see how you would make a Nicholas Myers mask look.

This mask is very poor quality…you get what you pay for.

You have almost a year to prepare (and get your hands on a better mask). If someone wore this in a haunted house I’d laugh. No offense, just being honest here.

A lot of people were scared of me with this mask. In my scene they freaked out when I ran at them with my drill. Plus people didn’t want to go into the maze with me at all, but they had too. Made 10 kids piss their pants with this mask. Just wish October would hurry and get here :frowning:

They were probably more freaked out by the drill…

If I were in your shoes, I’d take it upon myself to wear a more screen-accurate mask.

But of course it’s your call. Something to think about anyway.

I’m with the others, it’s too cheap to bother fixing, there’s far better masks out there. But if you’re wanting to fix it, sounds like Don has some hair.

What is your recommendations? Which mask do you think will be scary the original H1 mask?

It’s not really worth putting a lot of money into that mask IMO. If I were you I’d just buy a fake beard and cut off lengths of it to fill in the bald spots and then call it a day. Then just save up and use your money to get a better mask.

Like with lots of people on here, the H1 mask is my favorite, followed by the H2…but more important than that is who makes the mask. Mass market masks are not the way to go if you’re going to take your costume seriously. The RZ mask from the film is really cool but can be tough to find a decent one at a reasonable price. The screen-accurate Dela Torre RZ masks seem to cost like $400. If you’re anything like me, that’s beyond what you’re willing and able to pay for a mask. But if you want to go for an H1 or H2, you can find something good for $100-200. The classifieds section regularly has good indie masks for sale. And of course you can use the gallery to see references of many of the different masks out there. How much did you pay for the Don Post you have? I’m guessing around $35 or so.
