Halloween 4 as the best opening? Ugggghhhh, no.

Not sure If I’d put it at number 1, but it’s definitely up there in terms of evoking that Halloween mood.

I thought Ryan Turek was some kind of super fan. You’d think he would have known he could read about the pumpkin thing here.

Anyway, Halloween Kills was the best Halloween entry in my lifetime. I hope Ends succeeds at whatever it’s trying to do. I’m okay with homages; I’m okay with things changing, too.

I don’t understand. They sell the original 1978 TOTS mask but restrict the flashback mask, which technically should look the exact same? Why?

Oddly enough they don’t look very similar, which really makes me wonder why production didn’t just use Mabry’s TOTS 78 as a template and go from there. Why sculpt a ground-up mask that doesn’t look as authentic to 1978?

Maybry sculpted the 2018 Clean mask, then Chris Nelson altered it and added the scarring etc, Jim Courtnery even wore a Creep mask for a costume test, and the studios didn’t want an exact copy of the original, even when Chris Morgan had shown his 78 Myers “The one” mask

Yes sir, I know all that. But the question is WHY??

The flashback mask would have been a lot better if the had done the hairline like the original. I hate the nice straight hairlines at the side.

I like the flashback mask, it has potential. I would like to see what one looks like a little dirtied up and the hair less perfect, especially at the lines.
