Just wanted to give all of you who were accepted into the Halloween Movies and Trancas Films Official Halloween Fan Film Festival a quick heads up that you can now submit your film for listing on IMDB. This is only for films that were accepted into the festival. Being listed on IMDB is a big deal, and can really make a difference in getting industry work (if you want to be in the film biz).
A few things you’ll want to make sure you have before you go through the long submission process form:
Set up either an official Facebook page or a website for your film. It is required.

Check to see if any of your cast or crew are already on IMDB. This will help get you listed quicker if they are.
Know every technical detail about your film (sound mix, aspect ratio etc).
Be patient! It can take up to a month to show up on IMDB once your film has been accepted, especially if you have a bunch of people who have not been on IMDB before.
