Where does the quality go in this masks vs tots. It looks amazing and I want to add it to my collection but I was just curious.

Awesome photo! I’ve seen it many times. Although the creep is not my favorite mask, it is obviously a good sculpt. I just don’t like nightowls finishing as much as others.
Are you asking why it’s better than a tots? Most indie masks have more time put into them then a mass produced product, so there is more attention to detail which comes thru in the look and quality… But that’s why you pay $300 plus for a mask like this where as you can get a tots for $59

Everyone has their on preference. Personally I’d only own a TOTS Myers mask if it was given to me.
I’d wait to see how their captain kirk looks in person before buying a creep but that’s just me.
More time is put in making it by hand (hair and paint) versus TOTS assembly-line mass-produced…the sculpt itself is really popular and currently the only way to get it is by getting a Creep or Shat. Soon there’s that new budget Kirk coming out though with the shat sculpt.

To me the Creep is special because it can practically pull off almost every single angle of Michael Myers. It is an incredible mask, I own a 2014 Creep. It just is the most accurate in my opinion.

I think the time put in to it is definitely one of the main differences. The finishing, hair etc. are all much better.

Is this Justin’s original finishing? The weathering looks more heavy handed than his.
Can you guys give me an idea of turn around time.
When I order my DT masks they take anywhere from 3 to 4 months.

I think when James gets ahold of a Creep it turns into a great looking mask.
Also the turnaround time is pretty quick. I think when I got mine it was a few months at most. Although this was a few years ago so things could have changed.
I just saw this image on a short over at fright rags. Pretty cool. Did they give you a free shirt at least??
