What’s hard to navigate sometimes are all the acronyms the masks get called. So, I thought I’d compile a small list (which I hope will grow with your help), to help newbies like myself understand what we’re all talking about. Along with the basic understanding of who’s who and where they are, I wonder if y’all wouldn’t mind adding your two-cents on the quality of each company/person’s various sculpts, paintjobs, and hair? Also maybe we could add price ranges and values, customer service? I’m still pretty new to this, so I’m using this not only to initiate myself, but also help others. So, here we go…
CGP: Cemetery Gate Productions
DT: Dela Torre produces the most highly recommended RZ (Rob Zombie) H1 & H2 masks comes in several varieties represented in the films.
JC: JC Replicas by James. jc_70 on the forums, makes fantastic knives, mask stands, and excellent paintwork on masks.
KH: Ken Hertlein Made the famous KH/DW (Dick Warlock) signature series masks (around 25-30) depicting the H2 hero mask.
NAG: Nikolas Art Gallery
SSN: Silver Shampain Novelties
TOTS: Trick or Treat Studios produces the latest and most affordable H2 mass-produced sculpts in the market. In addition to the two H2 masks (with and without blood running down the eyes), they produce masks from H3, and H6 to H8.
