So I’m strongly considering picking one of these FPS SPECTRE’s up. But I really would like too know your opinions on it…and if some of you have one would you mind sharing some pics…that would be appreciated! :smiley: :myers:

I think it’s a very nice mask, and it’s also very distinct, in that it has a very ghostly paint job. I don’t personally own one, but from what I’ve seen, it looks great. I’d say if you really want one, by all means go for it man! :slight_smile:

I’m not a fan of it, mouth looks off. The paint job is good though. I think for what they sell it for you can get something better. Just my opinion. If you like it, I’d say go for it. Could always save your $ and wait for the new movie. You know Indy mask makers are going to try and replicate it.

Well, it depends on what you want in a mask. Some want a mask that looks like the original when nobody is wearing it. FPS added some Nick Castle stretch to the mask. They now have version 2 for sale now and he added even more Castle stretch to the mask. I wanted something that looked more like Castle wearing the mask. As stated above it is a unique mask and IMO is fantastic. I have a few pics to show my Spectre V1

Get a 99 Shat, which is what a Spectre is. A retooled 99. The Spectre is nice but the 99 is much nicer.

Correct, it’s a retool for a different look while the mask is worn as opposed to it looking more like A direct cast of Bill Shatner. Couple more pics for what it’s worth Bronco84.

Thanks guys for responding. :smiley: Well I found out some bad news, I hit up Farther Phantom Studio and turns out they don’t have a 24inch size without making it a thick pull. :confused: I really don’t want a thick pull. So yeah…Dang Not saying I want get it sometime later this year just for my collection cause I really do like the way it looks. Don’t even get me started on V2. :open_mouth: :myers: :pumpkin:

I love it. Have the V2on order. It’s perfect for someone like me who sucks at stuffing Myers masks.

I think it’s a great mask! The only complaint I have with this mask from what I’ve seen is the nose is a bit too turned up. Which is just my personal opinion. Great mask otherwise!

I think the Spectre is a very unique mask in the fact that it captures the stretch but also the feel the mask had on camera. Idk, I sound crazy, I know. I do prefer the V1 over the V2 at the moment.
