Freddy glove that survived a fire

Here’s a Boiler Room Creation glove I bought from razorgloves.com in 2012 (I think). It was the first glove I ever owned and it holds a special place in my heart. Wonderful work from that shop, so I was saddened when I retrieved from the rubble after a house fire a few years back. Since then, I’d gotten a replacement glove and kept the old one just cuz. However, looking at it now, it looks pretty cool. I think the rust and stains make it look even more mean and vicious. It’s still wearable but the leather is stiff so it’s a little hard to slip on. Freddy sporting a rusty, burnt glove actually seems like a neat idea haha.

put some WD-40 on those blades, and you should be able to soften the leather again with some stuff to loosen it up and stretch it

Rub the glove down well with mink oil once a day for several days and it will come back to life.

Honestly it being in a fire makes it more accurate.

I love the real weathering!

Unfortunate to hear about that fire. However, it may have actually helped to add some natural grunge and damage to this piece. May be something positive to take out of that situation. Either way great looking piece my friend, and as mentioned above; probably won’t take much to touch up!

Glad to hear you came through the fire safely. The bonus is that the fire enhanced the glove. Looks fantastic!

Don’t polish it up - it looks awesome. It’s actually a neat little silver lining to an unfortunate situation and it makes all the sense in the world for a Freddy piece.
