Awesome! Man, I wish the Ghostface masks still looked like that.
Thanks a lot man! It’s a real treat because of how clean and white it is and because part of the tag actually still remains in the mask to this day
a small piece but still a piece!
I do too brother, I miss the OG Ghostface!
Wish they would have kept doing this mold as nothing beats the original. From the vanilla smell, to the fabric, the shape, etc. Everything was better made back then, too bad its all made cheaply and funworld doesnt care about it anymore. Maybe with the new movie coming out the production team requests they make the mask as close to the original mold and look from the first film, thats the only way imo that funworld will ever bring it back, if the team or director behind the movies demands it.
While I agree, funworld would still try to screw the filmmakers over. Let’s look back at Scream 4. During production of that film, the main mask used was a collectors edition scream 4 mask made by funworld that the production team had to modify and get rid of most of the hood. Why did they have to do that? Because the hood material funworld was using was causing purple spots to occur all over all of their masks and funworld would even send some of the masks to set with spots already present! Goes to show that funworld thrmselves have grown tired and lazy. The vinyl is cheaper and shiny. The eye mesh is thinner. Heck, they’re abusing the Ultra White mold as they now use it for EVERYTHING. Even the metallics went Ultra white mold this past year…but don’t worry, I feel that fun world is fixing to have to buy a new mold to be sculpted because that ultra white has been used to death and judging by a lot of last years copies, it’s time for a new mold entirely. Here’s hoping funworld gets back to the way they were and makes the weeping ghost himself look great again!
…and not a single indie mask maker does Ghostface ![]()
This, I couldn’t agree more. I am so tired of the ultra whites. I was hoping they would have finally changed it for this past year’s masks, but nope. Here’s hoping they do next year. The main thing I don’t like is the gloss. The older matte finish just looks more ghostly.
…and not a single indie mask maker does Ghostface
Because funworld owns any and all rights reserved to make any masks related to traditional Ghostface and any indie artist that tried to make an Indie traditional ghostface mask for selling would probably get a cease and desist from funworld
