With the photography we have here, I wanted to make a grail thread. I’m a purist so H1 & H2 definitive beginning and end but still love all films and masks. I’d even love to see some Resurrection indy masks! Been a long time. Anyway, here are my definitive grails. Dennis Beckstrom/JC “Spot On” or “DB2” as the end all be all for H1. Definitely a few honorable mentions in Nightowl/JC Shat & NAG/JC 75k Castle, NAG/JC 75k Supreme along with a couple others.
1981 is much more difficult to accurately capture. My goal was always to have a mask that held shape without needing all of this foam or bags to give it an accurate stretch. I’ve found there isn’t a better sculpt than tbe 98proto and 98proto test for this look. Anyway, can’t wait to see your favorite masks
