About a year ago I sold my Psycho to a fellow member on here and no longer than a week and half later he’s already selling it for almost 3 times what I sold it too him for! WTF…That’s just pure BS right there and too think I kept it too myself all this time and didn’t say word because I thought well its his mask now and he can sell for a freaking million dollars if he wants and its none my business…so yeah you know, it is what it is.
Gotta admit though its pretty down right Money Hoggish and Greedy!!!
I mean it is his property he can sell for as much as he wants, but you can’t help but feel a little bit betrayed when that happens.
I felt like shit was thrown in my face for being a nice guy and given him a hell of a deal for an amazing 2005 Psycho for which i could of got 3 hundred more dollars out of, not that i need the money or anything just the truth!
I’ve had this conversation with a few people over the years… I do agree sometimes it’s frustrating… I just try to keep in mind what Liam above said… It is really up to them what they do with it, although it still is frustrating.
I once sold a mask to a buddy who had been asking to buy the mask from me for several years… I final sold it to him for a cheap price, and the guy literally put it on ebay the next day for double… But… Found out later that his wife was upset with him for buying it and basically made him sell it… So sometimes there is more to the story…
And sometimes not, because there are some out there just looking to make a buck. I wouldnt do business with this person anymore if you are that upset… Or at least I wouldn’t give the person a “deal” next time.
And maybe message the person and let them know you’re frustrated… Obviously they can see this thread if they are a member. Also… Did this happen a year ago? Why is it coming up now
Better believe it this stuff can get under your skin and just about made me leave this hobby for good.
Yeah it happen that long ago and the reason i posted it on here guess i just felt i needed too talk about it and get it out of my system. Maybe i would start too feel a little better, for which i do and sorry to hear that happen to you too!
As for the fellow member I found out last night he’s on the Scam List, most likely been banned…I was wondering why I didn’t see him around last several months! What comes around goes around and hate it for who he scammed too…

Happens all the time…i see people buy masks on the Facebook forum…not a week later price is jacked up…makes me laugh…everyone seen what you bought it for…kinda funny
I guess I’m a sap for buying my masks off of Ebay. Probably from people who bought them for cheaper in private deals…
There’s a lot of criminals around anymore, just taking advantage of those of us who are in it for the enjoyment. Seems ever since people found that they could over-charge for a mask finished by James because his wait time is the ‘years’ column, the standard going rate for almost any mask has about tripled. “It’s only worth what you’re willing to pay” they say. Bullsh**, that’s an excuse made up by these people trying to make a profit off a piece of latex they didn’t even make. I know it’ll never happen because of BS politics and the fact people who can do something about it are too soft to, but we really need to just start banning people like that.
This thread will probably end up locked and the process will continue, I’m sure.
