H1 and H2 Coveralls Question

I know with me being a diehard Halloween super fan, I should know the answer to tbis, but I dont.

What brand, style and colors were the H1 Coveralls, and which brand, style and colors were the H2 coveralls? If anybody could provide me with information, as well as links, I’d appreciate it. I’m actually looking for the largest size, for both.

HalloweeN 1978 were olive wood (greenish, grayish, brownish, color) JC Penney Big Macs. HalloweeN 1981 were spruce green Sears work and leisures. (Not Roebucks). Even though currently the Roebucks are the ones I use for H2. Stitching on pockets were a little different if I remember between those two. Also good luck finding the Big Macs, they are 1 in a million to find the exact ones, as different pocket designs, fabric designs etc. what you are looking for on the big macs are… Square pocket flap, no seam down the back. Mainly find coveralls that are “close” that fit and you should be great. These are my H1 Big Macs and my H2 Roebucks, to be replaced with the correct Sears some day… Hope this helps.

Where’s the best place to buy the H2 spruce green Roebuck coveralls?

Ebay

I use spruce green for a H1 and H2 look. The color is very similar to olive wood and in the right lighting it looks just like the H1s. There’s a good argument for spruce green being the color used in H1 as its almost impossible to tell directly based on the lighting, in some shots it looks spruce green and in others it looks more olivewood. I would recommend whatever look you enjoy more.

Other than eBay, are there any online stores, where these can be purchased? If anybody can provide links, It would be greatlying appreciated. Thanks in advance.

No these were made in the 50’s -90’s in fact the closest Big Macs I’ve found were actually circa 1950. With the Sears being late 70’s-90’s. Thrift stores, ebay is your best shot at as close to originals on screen.

It’s kind of tedious, but if you put in “vintage coveralls” on eBay and sift through, you can find some really close pairs.
Even if they need to be dyed, if the cuts/pockets/etc. are right you’re golden.
