Just wanted to ask what you guys use for a non-permanent stencil for eye cutouts? Something that removes easily for a trial and error before making final cut. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Sharpie works nice, the extra fine point ones work great. If you don’t like the shape of them, all you need is some 91% rubbing alcohol on some q tips or a rag to clean it off.
I’ve tried sharpies and they are super hard to get off the rubber mask in my opinion. Plus I’m kind of experimenting with the 1978 tots mask and I’ve already done some paint work on the mask itself that I am happy with. The rubbing alcohol seems to cut through everything all the way down to the bare mask. Any other suggestions besides sharpie? Something non permanent?Thanks for the suggestion
Most of them are perfectly fine, they don’t need to be tweaked
If you do decide to alter the existing eyecuts, a #6 or #8 graphite pencil will work, it cleans up with just water. I’ve also used charcoal pencils but they can get a little messy.
