Most all DP masks have ear holes from what I have seen

Im not 100% certain but I think all 1975 Kirks had a hole in each ear.

I would assume it’s hidden behind the inner lobe. And really anytime you see the mask on film is in the shadows at night. If you watch the vid closely, you can faintly see the holes in the ears, but pay close attention to the inner ear lobes because you can only see the edge of what does appear to be holes, but you don’t see them any other time… Right behind the inner lobes, like the hole in our own ears are.

Wow guys this is the 1st time ive seen this video. For whatever reason the mask looks a bit different in certain angles compared to the one in the movies…dont know if that has to do with the aging of the mask. One thing I noticed was the ears are a bit more pointy on the hero…i hope in the future we see a mask that works on the sculpt of the ears a bit.

Actually, there’s one or two frames during the closet scene, right after he busts through the door and is looking around, you can kinda see it briefly.
