One last post here. Still miles to go until I’m fully satisfied, but here’s my H1 wood/ foam version 2.0. Still made some mistakes along the way, but I’ll be fine for this season with these 2. In the meantime, I’ll keep working at it. Wooden blade, foam grips.

Finally getting the hang of this. Found a paint that has great shine and reflection, but also tolerates a floor polish clear coat. My next step is to make handles with wood instead of foam, now that I have access to a great band saw. Once that’s done, I might be up for making them for others, if anyone has an interest.
