One of the first things I always look for in a good H1 mask is the hairline. I’ve seen a lot of great Myers mask out there, but for some reason most of them (IMO) the hairline if always off. Maybe I’m just to picky lol, but the hairline (along with the shape of the eyes) is what I look for first in a Myers mask.
Definitely agreed. The 1975 Kirk had a very prominent receding hairline, which was made even more prominent with the sideburns gone. The whole hairline is a very wide, crooked, jagged “U” shape. In fact, the very center of the whole thing isn’t even in the middle. It’s off to the mask’s left side.
Bingo, this is exactly what I meant to say. The hairline is very jagged, and crooked. However, I see a lot of Myers mask where the hairline is perfectly straight from behind one ear, and running round the whole way to the other ear. It just throws me off seeing a perfectly straight hairline the whole way round the mask lol.
