Finally got around to taking some more photos of the first repaint I ever did- converting a TOTS H2 to an H1. Everybody has to start somewhere, right? I really dug the ghost-like airbrushed look that the FPS Spectre has so that’s kinda what I tried going for. In the pics, I also experimented with stuffing it differently and lighting a lot, to get that strangely ever changing look to the mask.
I don’t believe I’ve ever seen anyone try this, turned out nice!
I think the main thing thats throwing me off is the profile shot. The hair just seems off try readjusting it. The paintwork does look awesome though and does have a spectre vibe.

Looks good. I don’t know why Tots puts so much damn hair on a movie mask which probably had the least visibly? They just need to put much less hair and it would look exponentially better
It’s kinda strange how they do 3 separate strips but thick chunks of hair- it’s like you’ll simultaneously get bald spots AND crazy tornado hair lol the next thing I should try is thinning the hair a bit, and maybe gluing the extra to the bald spots- I’ve already painted those areas brown to blend in with the hair so I think that’s a good idea too
I combed a crap ton of hair out of my last H2 but yeah, it made those bald spots much more noticeable but your idea about gluing some of that combed out hair in those spots is a great idea! Something about their H2 looks really off. I think the hairline may be too high or something too?
Looks good. The paintjob reminds me of the H8 if the H8 were actually any good. You pulled it off really nicely.
