H18 Rehaul opinions

Hey guys, i got this off of ebay. I just randomly bid $40 and ended up winning it. Im not sure who rehauled it though. At first i wasn’t crazy about it, but its growing on me. For $40, i can’t complain I guess. What are your thoughts?

It’s not fantastic but certainly better than stock, and for 40 it’s a steal. You can add some greens and yellows, some blacks and browns and use this as a base for a real fine looking mask with half the work of rehauling one from stock

Thats pretty decent, but not bad for 40. I wouldn’t be mad if I even paid 60-85 bucks. You got a bargain, dude.

Thanks! I think so too. It was all just random.

Do you or anyone know the best way to rehaul a h18 with no sealer bc it would be my first mask to do and mask rehauled say to do a dark base coat then dry brush white but some other people do white base coat and a mud wash

Ok first video is the kills mask. It will show you the dry brushing method without having to seal and then try to bring out details with acrylic/boot polish. The second video is for ends mask, it will show you the seal and wash process. You have to seal it when you are all said and done though or your work wont last.
Theres quite a bit to know im currently rehauling myself some masks . Just ask some questions if i have to go into all detail here it will be a novel. But i recommend doing a base layer of acrylic/boot polish first you want those details underneath bleeding through in areas. Last video shows dry brushing h40.

I watched the masquerade work shop one I think that one’s the best

Dude Its a latex mask - I’d seal it regardless of what technique you use.

This was done with the drybrushing over the dark base coat
