Hey guys
First happy holidays to all.
I recently watched the RZ H2 flick and I enjoyed. The sheer amount of sensory overload that the film provides left me a little overwhelmed but I was entertained.
So as you know at the end when Haddonfield Sherrifs have the Myers shack surrounds Michael walks out pulls his mask off kills Loomis and get blown away ala Alex Murphy in Robocop. Lori walks out picks up the knife and then she’s shot dead.
Well the endeing with her sitting I’m the white room and seeing her mother and the white horse means what? Did she did was this now her personal hell or did she live and now is it suggested that she’s now going to follow in the footsteps of her big brother?
What are some of your thoughts?
According to Zombie’s commentary, the scene that follows her being shot is her final thoughts before she dies. She spent the whole film trying to deny and bury who she really is, but in death, she decides to embrace it.
I think the theatrical version is a MUCH better ending. For one, Michael doesnt speak, for two Laurie isnt shot and three we actually get some what of a Halloween theme. In the theatrical version, she isnt dead. She is, in fact, in an institution. In the unrated she is dead, like BRoswell stated. Oh and apparently Love Hurts -.- UHG. I just wish Rob Zombie would have realized he isnt as psychological as he thinks he is and made a sequel that was worthy of the Halloween name. Not a movie that your wife could have another part in, or that no one could bring back after you end it your way.
I didnt like the ending. I agree with the comment above me the theatrical ending was much better. they ruined him by showing his face i thing…
