H2 most nostalgic Halloween

For whatever reason in the 80s H2 was always the one to play on tv instead of H1 during Halloween time. Does anyone know why? I’m assuming a deal with universal studios and network TV that H1 didn’t have?

I dont know, but that one has been the Halloween in my head for the go-to. The scene where he kills the nurse in Dr Mixters office is the iconic Halloween scene in my 35 year old mind.

NBC has had a syndication deal with Universal since the 1950s. More recently, they merged and became NBCUniversal.

Idk, but as a child I always remember seeing H2, H3, H4, & H5 on television. I don’t recall seeing H78 until much later. And now they never show H3.

In Ohio in the mid 90’s H2 was always the top played on the USA network during the Halloween season.

Yep! Thanks for all the feedback guys and gals!! That sandman combined with pumpkin synth remix is Halloween for me! Along with Disney Sleepy hollow and Garfield Halloween cartoons.
