H2 Question

Ok, So me and my Son are watching Halloween II, ( with our new Scalpels we just received from kmataya…Thanks Bro, Jayden loves them ), and it seems like everytime this part comes up I’m confused.

I’m confused as to what is supposed to be happening to Jimmy when he gets in the car with laurie towards the end, I mean…I know he takes a bad fall in the puddle of blood when he finds the Head Nurse, but then he walks out to the car where laurie is then falls out at the wheel…So is he just passed out still from all the excitement? or Dead?

Confused…

He probably passed out since he had stopped moving and it hit him…

wow.I never gave that any thought until just now.good question man.

Although it’s not really said what happened in the movie, in the TV cut he’s alive.

I always thought it was because of a head injury from slipping on the blood…he goes to the car to try and get away (happens to get in the same car that Laurie is hiding in), and loses consciousness.
Isn’t he alive at the end of the movie though, or is that the TV cut, or maybe I’m imagining that?

i think he died in the car if i’m not mistaking, when Laurie pulled his head back off the steering wheel his eye’s were open with no responds. :open_mouth:

Oh, thanks Kaizu!

Wow, I never knew there was a TV cut, I’m gonna have to check that out.

Thanx Bro

i thought maybe michael had got him in between the scenes lol

i always thought he died!

I always thought it was because of the concussion he endured when he fell, but then he survives he just passed out though. Well, at least in the TV version.

Yea, I remember that ending, I like that ending way better, doesn’t leave that loop hole.

Thanx Kaizu :prayer:

wow i have never seen this before!!
i remember in the first death of laurie strode, Jimmy is alive until issue 3 when michael kills him
marcus

Ive seen both versions but I still prefer the TV version.

In the TV cut he is alive at the end. I always thought that him and Laurie got together and had a daughter (Jamie Loyd)

What Jimmy was experiencing was concussion, his reaction thereaftere is typical of such head trauma…eyes open or otherwise.

Bro, I love that Theory, I’m runnin with it… :axe:

lol Well Wasn’t Jimmys last name Loyd?

Concussion; you fall and hit you’re head as violently as he did on a tile/cement floor you can get a concussion and possibility die from that fall.

However, Halloween II was filmed with Jimmy living, just like the end of the TV Cut, the book and my 1981 original Jamie Lee Curtis script. However, it was John Carpenter who went in and changed it basically cutting the ties of Laurie and everyone at the hospital that Halloween night to show complete and total isolation.
