H2 V2 “light” rehaul

What’s up everybody? So I have never liked the H2 deluxe. The sculpt seemed cartoonish to me, but I started seeing the version 2 and I don’t know if the sculpt changed or not. But either way, after seeing some videos of the v2 I thought maybe it could look good so I ordered one and started working on it this morning.

I’m by no means a rehaul artist, in fact I’ve been super disappointed with the end result on the few I’ve tried my hand at. But I thought the v2 was dirty enough on its own to maybe be able to just hit the streaks n tips marks and hopefully regain some confidence back. I didn’t try to go all out on it, just what I felt like were the main ‘weathered points’ and I fixed the hairline, trimmed some off the back, and styled it. I think it came out good enough to ease my desire to drop a few hundred on an indie mask for the time being and thought I’d share it with you guys. I’d really love to see what some of the pros here could do with this mask. I think it’s got a lot of potential.

I think you did a great job! The sculpt is definitely a bit odd on both H2s, but you actually made me see the similarities now, flattening the hair down already does wonders and the weathering is really nice!

If you ever feel the need to get another H2 mask, try getting a boogeyman and rehauling that one into a H2, with some sponges glued to the temples inside it can easily achieve that warlock stretch look

Exactly how I feel. It’s not that accurate but from certain angles, I can see some H2 in it. And I appreciate the compliment man. I’ve got a Kirk that I need to get some hair on and give it a shot. The boogeyman is a great sculpt!

You can do a great H2 with a Kirk, I just happened to watch this rehaul video yesterday and the result is pretty great

That’s actually the video I referenced for the hair. Haha. That guy did a hell of a job!

Not bad at all!

I appreciate it. I’m happy with it for a beater on Halloween. It’s going to keep the sweat out of my H1sm.
