Ive been watching the Halloween movies since I was a kid. Im in my 30s now. Tonight I was watching H2 for the millionth time and realized, and this may be strange, but when I think of the movies and MM the H2 mask look is what I always associate Halloween with. It made me wonder what movie/mask yall associate the movies with. When someone says Michael Myers which look strikes you first?
Shatner mask, either H1 or H2 come.to mind for me personally
H2 when Micheal busts through the door and turns to look at Loomis. That shot of michael is the first thing I think of when I hear someone bring up michael myers.
I always think of Michael standing behind the hedges in the original Halloween. Not sure why

When I think of Michael H1/2 and H4 comes to mind. Specifically, H1 in the hallway, H2 the hot tub scene. Also H4 when the lightning cracks and Michael sits up from the floor!

H1 for me. Specifically, I think of the H1 mask on the H4 poster, as that image is so iconic, and you see it on just about every cheap Myers mask off the rack.
Some of the very ominous looking shots of the Mask in Halloween 2, ie. The scene where Michael bursts through the glass door and then sits up to look at the camera after slicing the officer’s throat.
Definitely Halloween 1 where he tries to kill Laurie in the closet, just that shot of the lights flickering on and off with him desperately clawing his way through the door showing his face in the shadows and light makes it clear he’s like a wolverine trying to catch its prey, Also where he kills Bob in the kitchen rings a bell too. Halloween 5 is one i’d like to bring up as well because I feel after the first two is where he was really intimidating especially the scene where Loomis talks to him in the house.

This is a great question…for me…when I hear the name Michael Myers I think of the cover to Halloween 4. I first saw part of Halloween 1 on TV and had no idea of what I was watching. I then went to the video store and rented H2O because it had just come out. Then I went back to the store to try and find the original and thought Halloween 4 was the original movie that I saw on TV 
Ik watched my H2 blu-ray today. All the kills are cut so you don’t see bloody or any Gore. You don’t even see the nurse lifted up. Only her shoes falling of her feed lol. How could i know it’s a cut version?
Agreed. There are also two others that come to mind. When he’s on the phone with Laurie, and when he looks at Laurie after busting the closet door.
This. Even though I think HI is the better movie, HII Myers is THE Myers for me.
H2 was what I saw first…the Frankenstein walk, dirty mask, empty hospital scared the shit out of me. I loved it. Then I saw H1 and wanted a mask ever since.
It sounds like you watched the TV version of H2. The Shout Factory collectors edition of H2 included the theatrical version on one disc, and the TV version on another disc.
