and he had mentioned to my friend that they were saying
that he was the runner up for the new man behind the mask (aka) Michael Myers

ok this is rediculous. People bitch and moan about the inconsistencies in robs films yet when its said a much shorter guy will play Michael in a third film, noone cares. Why? because Robs not doing it. Im sure now more than ever that the only real reason anyone complains about RZH1 and RZh2 is because simply, rob did it.

Typically, with me working in the “Hollywood shit industry”… it’s best to take all of this with a grain of salt… You should see the amount of speculation that goes on here…

haha… Also, H2 JUST left theaters… hell, it’s still in a few here around town… there’s a LOT that’s going to be happening between now and H3 actually going into production.
More hinting of a total remake. The 3D part is the excuse to justify it.
Ya and if they try to reproduce the Wayne Toth mask I am sure they will pretty much mess it up like they did on all the other follow ups so good luck to them. Mane has been my favorite Myers by far.
I think your right on this part. It’s either going to be a total remake or something close to it. I think Rob’s re-imagining finished with H2, perhaps why they were touting it “rob zombie completes his vision” in some of the commercials.
What…Why would you even think about casting out Mane…Especially with a smaller guy…IMO mane has been the best myers since warlock…The only thing he did Ididnt like was grunt…But his interpretation kicked ass…The new director just needs to say no grunting…There were parts where he did the heavy breathing really well so he can just stick with that…As far as wayne T…I wouldnt mind seeing him do another mask either…But an entirely new one of course considering there was only half a mask left towards the end of H2…Casting out Tyler mane would suck big time…I agree and think they need to stick with him untill he is ready to part from it…
Myers changes all the time…and yes it sucks

also, most directors have people that they like to work with
(i.e) Rob Zombie and his gang…
so, it makes sence to include Chris Carnel with his back ground
in stunts as their new Myers…
i am totally aginst Myers in 3D and can’t see how they can pull it off?
unless they remake the orignal H3…now that would be a “maybe” in 3D…
either way…if it happens WE ALL GET A NEW MASK/MASKS…
and new exciting versions from all artists…

Fuck yes. Mane was good, but a new beginning means a new Myers and I wanted Chris Carnel to have a shot at it. Especially after MBV3D. The Miner was fucking awesome. Incredibly menacing and creepy. He’d make a great Myers.
I dont know…Its not always a good thing when Michael changes though…I guess I could see a new myers if they were picking up with the original series or completely starting over…They are picking up where Rob left off…Rob’s Halloween is already weird enough…Then throw in 3D (which I am totally against also) with a smaller guy than Mane then this next movie is just off the wall all wrong from the start…This is only my opinion…I will guess I will just go into the movie with an open Mind like I do with all the rest…God wouldnt it be so great If John Carpenter came back for one final Halloween…The ultimate remake, “John Carpenters Halloween 2010”…Maybe one day huh

I will see Chris Carnel at the Horrorfind Convention this weekend so I’ll be sure to ask him. I’ll post here what he says.
