So clearly the H4 poster mask is based off that one artist rendition of the H1 mask that appears on the H4 cover art, while the H78 is an artist rendition of the H1 mask how it looks during the balcony scene.
Which one to you better represents a non-neutral looking, worn H1 mask?
The H4 poster art was actually based on a shot taken during H2 and it is Dick Warlock wearing the mask!
I still get a huge H1 vibe from it though!
If I had to pick between the two, I would go with the H4 poster look and I would go with a Nightowlpro Maniac!
Not a rehauled TOTS Hospital mask, but a true NO Maniac.
There’s just something about it, When I look at it I go “That’s it” It’s by far one of my favorite masks in my collection!!
Oh wow I didn’t know it was Warlock there, well, makes sense, some features such as the nose and the lips definitely gave me H2 vibes, it kinda looks like a middle ground in a certain way, like if the mask didn’t get ruined so much between H1 and H2 but they still had Warlock wearing it.
I can imagine the TOTS version being a much better H2 mask than their deluxe one with a proper rehaul.
That Maniac looks wondeful there. I think the exaggerated proportions of this particular sculpt make it much easier to have it be displayed in neutral lighting compared to other masks.
The H78 clearly makes the better Castle mask. The H4 poster mask is Dick Warlock wearing the mask in H2.
