Here’s a question I have-

What 6 masks were used for what? How many did we see in the final cut of the film (excluding the 1 kirk)?

I know there were 6 masks made, but it has always seemed like there were more than that.

I personally don’t believe we know where the primary hero is today, so that being said we have 3 masks with known whereabouts.

The “Other” mask that your friend owns.

Assuming you’ve seen photos of that third mask, can you tell if it’s one that we see on screen/the promo mask? If not that means the promo mask and the hero are both out there somewhere, right?

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but I would imagine that some of those 6 masks were used in the scene where the boys are dressed as Michael, and surround Dr Loomis and the sheriff. There were 3 of them in that scene, if I recall correctly. I know a different mask was on the dummy of Michael that Rachel Rams with the truck at the end, so there’s 4. And of course there’s the hero, there’s 5. And I believe it was mentioned that another mask was used in the Kelly death scene, so there’s 6. I could be totally wrong, but that’s my theory.

When you watch closely in the stair scene before Sasha gets killed, the masks eye keep changing shape.lol

You know, the eyes constantly changing shape throughout H4 almost makes me think of Spiderman or Deadpool in those new movies, where their eyes change shape with their expressions and emotions like the comics

I imagine that some where used in that scene, too. Possibly Darren’s too! There’s the Dummy mask (maybe Paul’s copy?), the hero, Darren’s mask, and a few others. Edit: It also depends on what you think Paul’s mask is. Some think hero, some think dummy, some think promo. I’d say the most likely would be the dummy mask but thats my personal opinion. If it’s not the hero and no the promo then it would be something like this:

1. Hero
2. Promo Mask
3. Darren’s mask
4. Paul’s Mask
   5.?
   6.?

Possibly the two versions we see in the drug store are the final 2?

I don’t know man, could be! There’s just so many possibilities!

I know! It’s crazy that this film has been out for so long and we still don’t have this shit definitively figured out lol. I think we wont really know for sure until we locate those other 3. Or get a picture of that third one in private hands.

Yeah, people have compared them. The 84 “The Mask” ears (or at least the proper left one) is almost dead on to the H4 ear(s).

I’m kinda confused by what your asking in the last part. There’s one “main” mask, the one shown below. It’s shown for the majority of the time. Some shots from before it’s eyes were cut, then other shots (most of them) when the eyes were enlarged. Other than that I’d say there are only 2 other masks that make screen time (and not a lot of it) besides the 75 Kirk in the school and KM death scene.

The mask on the left is the “primary hero” after the eyes were enlarged.

Edit: I get your question now lmao, the “hero” that is shown the most is the mask on the left in the above photo. There are only slight glimpses of other masks in the film

Its a cast from a 75. If you actually own a D88 its pretty obvious. A very rushed cast that is.
