While there are some really awesome H5 replicas, it seems to me it is the hardest to recreate accurately. Anyone else have the same opinion? If so, what are your thoughts on this.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen an accurate h5 mask. not even the movie mould ones look how the mask looked on screen.
I think the problem comes from how many modifications were made to the mask on set, both with the mouth, nose and chin. also the mask seems to have had internal modifications…
I think the time has gone now for a decent replica.

I am so glad that someone pointed out the lack of a super screen accurate H5 mask. The closest I’ve seen to decent is a KNB movie mold pull that someone posted on here a while back. And even that wasn’t 100% screen accurate.
Excatly! The reason this bothers me is because I loved the H5 mask. I would pay good money for a screen accurate mask if available.
I’m honestly surprised no one has tried to sculpt it yet. It must be because of the general hatred surrounding that mask, but I never understood that. Every mask in the Halloween franchise has something special about it, IMO. Especially the H5 mask, there’s something very menacing about it. I may try my hand at sculpting it when I get the chance

I don’t know, I think the one with the appliance that Wolfman posted in the ‘H5 Love’ thread looks to be “it”. Just, no one seems to make them like that, so they’re rare.
I think that the Halloween 5 mask is most definitely the hardest mask to accurately recreate. I have found that only certain SSN Shanks do the job for me, and that is really it. There are many masks that I would say are close, but not nearly as many as any other mask replicas for different movies. That’s just my opinion!
I have had most of the best and other H5’s and H4’s over the years, and the most accurate down to all the details that I had is by M Ryan Bogard. Only problem is it is a very big mask, like 25.5. I have a big head but not THAT big. But it actually fit my head well I am just not 6’-6" but it should work great for a life-sized. I also loved the Ghastly Pro one overall, but it was too small but also looked great on my life-sized. But there will be a 25 inch one made soon and smaller one by M Ryan later on so hopefully they will fit as I love them both. Some other cool ones I had also just too small.
Your going off multiple masks with diff hair,paint,and eyecuts.Its nearly impossible to do… 
IMO Mikes copies have always been by far the most accurate H5s out there. A big part is the nose appliance. Mike if you ever think about selling, PLEASE let me know! 
Also a lot of mask makers do looks based off of different scenes and lightnings and there are several versions of the masks used in the movie.

One thing to note that the movie mask was a lot more flexible than the SSN masks. Ghastly Pro’s H5 (sans appliance) is much closer to that aspect. My Shanks could probably take a bullet, it’s thick. The Revenge isn’t quite as thick, but it’s not rubbery like my GP5.
I’m currently working on a sculpt of this mask, and in my opinion it has been pretty challenging. My progress of the sculpt is in the Projects and Announcements section titled “H5 sculpt project”.
hoping someone will try their hand at this particular mask.i think its a totally awesome mask in certain scenes.and definitely has a menacing look.and with don shanks as micheal gave it an even more menacing aspect!i suppose ill be waiting til that sculpt and pull and finally accurate mask is offered.keeping hopes for sooner than later…
