Finally restarting my rehaul , got the inside all painted and sealed. Still alive just having a rough go. I sealed it with flex seal its a bit thicker than plastidip i figured its gunna get alot of sweat so it should be able to take punishment. I will finish the front with plastidip however.

Need a little feedback for stain on this axe :axe:. It almost looks two toned, thinking i should do a light brown and darker brown .

I think traditional cherry will do nice but im on the fence about the darker colours.

I’ve got a fun idea for the axe handle. I really like the cherry stain! How about starting with a really light black wash to highlight the bare wood? Then you can add some linseed oil for protection. After that, mix a little cherry stain with a touch of honey color stain—that should give it a nice warm tone! Finally, a light coat of polyurethane will seal it all in. I think that’ll make the handle look awesome! What do you think?

Black wash of acrylic? Ive never done this im open to suggestion. What about pre stain? I like the idea i think i would still have to add a darker colour over top of the lighter colour in places to achieve that worn look though ?

The black wash is absolutely stunning; it enhances the natural beauty of the wood while highlighting the corners and curves, giving them a raw, almost dramatic look, reminiscent of tree sap or deep stains like dirt or blood. Feel empowered to merge your ideas with my suggestions or take your project in an entirely new direction—you have the creative control!

Don’t know why the H6 mask doesnt get more love its second to the original for me and so much scarier than part 4,5,7 and 8.

Dude! I absolutely love H6—Michael Myers is an absolute beast in that movie. The concept with the curse is brilliant, especially with the callbacks to H2. It captures a timeless vibe, even though it’s set in the 90s. The murder scenes are really well done, and honestly, that mask is super creepy! I’m a big-time Curse Of Thorn fan! “It’s your game now, Doctor Loomis!”. :jack_o_lantern::hocho:

Love you both you are like my long lost brothers or something. I will add that it probably has the most chilling opening of all the Halloweens :jack_o_lantern: as well with that great narration and that H1 callback scene kill with a twist . So brutal and haunting . Was not prepared watching this as a kid i can tell you that. Even the cover of the movie was brilliant taking the original idea but using the actual mask and knife from the movie. They got alot of things right its just a shame it was plagued by so many production problems. I wish loomis played a bigger part considering it was his last Halloween and i wish it had been at least half hour longer , but that first half is so well done just with suspense and foreboding and just unrelenting in brutality. It really put all the other prior sequels to shame . And even the subsequent ones.

H6 has profoundly shaped my creative journey as I immerse myself in screenwritings for my upcoming film projects. Each scene I craft is infused with the rich essence of the franchise, especially H6, a captivating source of inspiration that fuels my vision. I am fervently working to transform this passion into a tangible part-series production, and I firmly believe that if all the pieces fall into place, fans will be captivated by the intricate web of storylines and characters that resonate with the beloved franchise. The shadow of H6 looms large, especially with its tantalizing Curse of Thorn, weaving a spell that connects the past with the future in thrilling ways.

Thank you & cheers dude! I’ve been having a blast crafting stories lately, and I can shape them in so many fun ways. Right now, I’m really excited about the idea of creating a graphic novel packed with amazing visuals and cool characters. If I could team up with a small group of passionate folks, I’d love to bring this project to life on the silver screen; yes I have screenplays written! I’m thinking we could capture that classic charm of old-school horror and share it on YouTube. It would be a fun homage to those timeless films, embracing a super low-budget vibe—just a good, old-fashioned slasher film that pays tribute to the roots of the genre while using today’s platforms. How cool would that be?

It all depends on your location and your distance from me, however I’m confident we can collaborate. You could take on the role of one of the people playing Michael Myers, assist with prop design, and contribute to the cinematography.
