ok i have always wondered this but it was just never brought up i just watched H6 again and what happens with the baby (jamies baby) how come none of the sequels or anything have mentioned anything about it or did i miss it i get lost in this movie even more so in the producers cut but with michael leaving his mask and the whole cult thing the only part that eats at me is what the hell happend to the baby
Well H20 and Ressurrection pick up where part 2 left off. It acts like parts 4-6 never happened. In other words they never existed. Jamie and her baby never existed. This is why I don’t even consider H20 and after true sequels. And RZ anything are remakes. After the sad passing of Donald Pleasence, the producer’s decided to break away from the whole Thorn routine and bring back Jamie Lee Curtis. I mean if you stop and think about it, it doesn’t make one bit of since that Laurie would dump Jamie, fake her death, and keep her son John (Josh Hartnett). Not to mention where did Michael’s burns go? How did he lose so much weight and shrink about an inch?

I try break the Halloween movies into a series of trilogies. Halloween 78, Halloween 81 and Halloween H20 are one set. Halloween 4, Halloween 5 and Halloween 6 are another. Now RZ’s H1 AND H2 and the expected third follow up will make these a trilogy and as for Resurrection… well there’s a black sheep to every family…
This is how I view the movies. All completely seperate universes and this is how I can really appreciate RZ’s entries and treat them as a really brutal and malevolent Halloween universe.
i suppose if you wanted to go deep into it and create your own way of connecting them you could say that after part 2, michael was presumed dead, and because of lauries mental stress the fact he was alive was kept from her. She had jamie but at the time couldnt take care of her so she was placed for adoption. Laurie moved far away and faked her death so just in case michael was alive, he wouldnt find her. years went by and the killings sprung up in haddonfield and michael had returned, but perhaps maybe laurie didnt watch the news much, or maybe she found out from the haddonfield police who still wish to hold the infprmation from her, that it wasnt michael. She remained safe as far as she knew. When kamie died laurie had no news of this, because she didnt know the adopted parents nor her location. As far as Laurie knew her baby was still alive somewhere. Then came john, and at this point laurie was feeling capable of handeling a baby so she decided to keep him. But michael returned and you know, H20 and resurrected came around. Might be weird but it adds up i guess so you could always consider them all part of the same continuation
The nightmare ended on November, 1st 1978, Myers and Loomis died. (For me)
The sequels were made for money.
The characters have so much charisma that people will watch the movies anyway, and enjoy them sometimes.
