I can’t remember if I posted this previously, so I apologize if I did. I’ve gotten a really great response so I thought I’d share. I’ve been working on recreating the 1978 Sheriff’s uniform. The jacket is a vintage make that took ages to find in the right size. I had the badge custom made. The patches took a while to track down too. I doubt I could replicate everything even if I wanted to!

Looks great! One of the fun {and sometimes not so fun} is tracking down parts to replicate a costume to match. Not to get off the Myers topic but I just found the one brand of boots and m65 jacket Stallone wore in rambo:Last Blood. And the thing is he wore a few different brands

First, this looks fantastic! I hate to share this with you, but you’ve gone to such pains to make this authentic so I figured you’d want to know: unfortunately you’ve made a common mistake: in the movies it’s not the Haddonfield Sheriff’s Department, its the Warren County Sheriff’s Department. Haddonfield is a (fictional) city in the (fictional) Warren County in the movies. Police officers represent cities and sheriffs and their deputies represent counties. Smaller towns often don’t have their own police department or only a very small one, so the sheriffs department for the county they are in are often the primary or only law enforcement. Sometimes the city and county share the same name, however in this situation that is not the case. You can more easily see this in both uniforms and car graphics in H2 and H40.
