Halloween 2 Hospital

For anyone who wants to get clear pictures of the hospital interior at the time of the filming, I recommed the book On Set with John Carpenter. I just got it and the chapter about H2 is probably the best.

Thought I would post this. Can’t really help with present pics, since I’m on the other side of the globe. Sorry.

Has anyone been able to get video or pic’s of the inside of the VA hospital? I hear you have to be really sneaky to even get on the grounds. That’s a shame :pensive: I would love to see where Michael walks through the door and the room where his eyes were shot out.

That room where his eyes get shot out was filmed in the basement of Morningside Hospital, which was demolished in 2003. Aside from one small scene I believe the VA hospital was only used for the exterior of HMH.

I live directly across the street from the VA. There is a gate that is open all day for its residents. You can easily walk in and walk the grounds, I see joggers going in and out all the time. I’ll have to take a walk over there and get some pics for everyone.

I might have to get that book. Sounds cool! Thank you so much :+1::grinning:[/quote]
You are welcome. Collecting books about Halloween has become sort of a hobby for me. This particular publication is a real treasure.

Very interesting, thank you for letting me know. :+1::grinning: BTW what was the small scene they filmed inside the VA Hospital? I thought it was filmed all at one location… well that’s movie magic. :+1:

The scene when Laurie is wheeled in through the emergency entrance was at the VA hospital.
