From what I read a couple weeks back… there was about too be a scene in Halloween 2 where that female news anchor found out that her car had a flat tire and she goes too change it then puts everything back up in the trunk and Michael pops out of it and slits her throat and steals her car and makes his way too the hospital.
I thought this was very interesting and cool but that would of taken away the Boom box boy scene which is actually one of my top favorite scenes in the movie. I bet I watched that one scene at least a million times 
Just love it! Dick Warlock done an amazing job getting into the role and doing his own thing with it. Impressive! When I watch him… I think of him as a damaged Myers and on the prowl. But yeah…that would have not taken place for Myers driving too the hospital unless…the car broke down or something 
Hmmm…well that opens a whole another can of worms right there…
They actually filmed this scene. It was actually in the first cut of the movie and was shown at UCLA in an advanced screening. After that screening, the movie changed and about 20 minutes was taken out of the movie and additional footage was shot by Carpenter.
If you read the Halloween II book, that was the actual cut of the movie.
From what I read it said it was about too happen then they backed out or something…DANG that’s cool it was filmed! Man I would of loved too seen it. I need too read that book too.
Nope, they filmed it. That cut of the movie, the UCLA cut, is what Rick filmed on script that Carpenter wrote.
Read the book…it’s quite different than the actual movie…

Reason why the scene might of been deleted was because of Rick Rosenthal’s poor acting as the Truck Driver, that came from Rick himself!
Maybe one day this scene will be released ‘‘Never say never’’
It was cut because there wasn’t a teenager style death in the movie. They added the Alice character because she was a teenager and they killed her.

That’s cool, but your right we would have never seen Dick Warlocks amazing presence as Michael just prowling the streets on Halloween heading towards the hospital. It’s kinda similar to H4 where Jamie is in the school hiding underneath lunch tables and Michael would flip them all over trying to find her, years later they put that scene in H20 with laurie instead.
That would of sucked not seeing him prowling the streets. That’s a Myers classic I believe were gonna get alot of that in the 2018 movie. 
Yep. Didn’t they say Michael is supposed to drive an old dodge car from the 70s in the new movie? I hope so because as much as I love the creepy stalking in the streets, hiding behind things, one thing I always loved about Michael in H1 was how he drove the station wagon really slowly looking for someone to stalk. I really hope they have a good balance between those two in the new movie like H1 did.
Me too bro that old Dodge like suits his tastes with the tinted windows and dark navy paintjob. Plus haven’t you noticed how old cars suit Myers better than lets say a new car. I have a hard time seeing Myers driving a Ford Focus etc.
I’m sure they will the producers say it’s a direct sequel to the first one, However he drove a car in Halloween 5 even though he wasn’t stalking people only to fool Tina. That scene I thought was really scary and I like the nod to the first one where he wears a troll mask to fool her just like when he fooled Linda with the bed sheets.
Speaking of Halloween 5 did you know that Donald Shanks actually almost ran over Danielle Harris for real Some of the actors even said Don would take the role and sometimes make it a little too real.
Yeah that troll mask was really strange. At first I thought it was like a Goofy looking man in his mid 50’s mask.

in all the interviews he’s done he says that Danielle was his buddy and that he felt awful every time he had to try and scare her. Yeah that car part was brutal, Don almost killed himself doing that stunt, that and the part where he escapes the mine shaft down the river. Ah well you gotta make a movie believeable right lol. Ted White purposely tried to scare Corey Feldman as Jason in The Final Chapter because he felt he was a brat as far as I know, the stress of doing all the work can put a strain on some of them I guess.
Yeah him and Harris were good friends. He really thought a lot of her. I have tons of respect for Don because he really did take it too the limits. Donald Pleasance broke his nose he was pooring blood in the mask and didn’t even think nothing of it and even said too the crew not too say anything too Donald because he really liked him and had a blast working with him. That is really awesome. Donald Shanks is a gutsy man and man’s man you might say. I know I couldn’t do the stuff he did. OMG I would be freaking out. Yeah he did almost die in the car. I would love too met Donald Shanks.
I actually spoke to Don on the phone about that, it was Wendy (Tina) who he almost ran over. He told me that the director told her to run in front of the car and she said “how are you going to be able to see my face?” And he (director) said “you won’t”, so Wendy said “we will” and decided to turn around while running. When she turned, she stepped on her cape and tripped and he stopped the car JUST in time. .

You were supposed to think Myers died in a fire…Ben Tramer. Myers isn’t in the original script for 20 minutes. The killing of the TV Reporter was the first time you were supposed to see him from falling out of the balcony and thinking he was Ben Tramer.
