Halloween (2007) - The Worst Horror Film Ever Made?

http://insidemovies.moviefone.com/2009/10/19/worst-horror-movies-5-1

Moviefone seems to think so. Whether or not you agree, it just hilarious that it made it to number 1 on a list like this!

Ha!

thats funny i seen that a few weeks back … i loved RZ version alot of people didnt … but worst movie of all time thats just insane

I know i havent watched RZ Halloween too many times, but i dont think its one of the worst movies made. Hell, i been a fan of RZ since it was White Zombie(better). Speakin of which, Rob Zombie is coming to the Uptown Theater in Kansas City, MO. which is where i live. I bought VIP tickets and after the concert i get to meet Rob Zombie and hang out with him. I will talk to him about his latest installments.

id put it number 1

Thats ridiculous, even if you dont like it, there are far worse horror films, it was filmed well, looked great and basically followed the original in the second half…so if its the WORST ever made, then you have to blame the original…these lists are always dumb as shit anyway.

I do not like RZ’s remake at all, and I actually thought his H2 was even worse… but I still would not put any of the two off them as the worst horror film ever made. If we are talking about recent films, maybe even remakes… then I would give it to The Fog.

God the Fog was atrocious…as was Friday the 13th.

As far as recent remakes go…

Friday the 13th > Halloween

I find this to be very funny. Those people are obviously morons. Look at some of the classics on that list…

Killer Klowns From Outer Space is on that list for Christ sake! :open_mouth:

Different opinions, different lists. No one ever said this is the defining list.

lol Plan 9 from outer space is #2…That movies so ridiciously bad its amazing.

hahaa what ever
it is not thee worst in anyway
I have seen horror movies that are so cheesy and lame that I straight broke the dvd after watching hahaa
I mean I don’t like the how RZ went with the series at all but it is not the worst hahaa
this is funny , made me smile
plus he gave us a new Michael Myers mask to collect

I wouldnt say it was the worse ever made but the remake was a complete joke compared to the originals. If you really look at the movie as a whole, there are many things that were absolutely unneccasary about the film. The boy shouldnt have talked neither should rob zombie have went in depth about why michael was a maniac (to me it made it less scary), the acting was pretty horrible, and last I remember Michael myers family should not have been displayed as trailer park trash (im not being racist but they made it seem like his family was that way).

Im sure several of you may disagree, but this movie should not have been made by rob zombie. Plain and simple. And H2, even worse. After that one, I will not watch the 3rd if they ever make it. I mean come on, images of his mother (why even try to copy friday the 13th here), loomis was a complete idiot, he was the only one who believed michael was dead. I can go on and on but I dislike rob zombies halloween. The mask, well thats a different story, I actually love it. These are only my oppinions.

the Halloween remake worst movie ever? nah not by along shot.

more than likly that list is comprised by some guy in his mid-thirtys stuck in the time frame he grew up in.
that list is a big “whatever” :unamused:

Watch Plan 9 From Outer Space starring Tor Johnson and Bela Ligoski. An other thing, being a comic book fan, I tend to think of Rob’s Halloweens as an altunate universe. I wish for people to do the same. Heck, I understand Rob’s reasoning for bringing Michael back; before RZH1 came out, everyone knew who Freddy, Jason, and Leatherface was and no one knew about Michael.

rob zombie’s halloween is HARDLY the worst horror film ever made. in my opinion, anyone who thinks so has convinced them self of it, just because it’s not the original halloween. any real horror fan, regardless of if you like rob’s halloween or not, knows that there have been much worse horror movies made.

agreed how would you put robs at number one and not jason x haha

…troll 2…

I can understand people not liking this one, I cant understand people liking Resurrection more than this.

I also believe that if Rob had done away with the opening breakfast of vulgarity scene, people wouldnt have been as hard on it as they are. I think that scene is jarring and turned alot of people off and based on that they hate the entire movie.

not a fan of the remake, but that’s not to say I think it’s anywhere NEAR the worst.
